Team: Baltimore Ravens
Sport: Pro Football (NFL)
Stadium: M&T Bank Stadium
Head Coach: Brian Billick
Super Bowls: One 2001 Super Bowl
XXXV
Background: The Baltimore Ravens
are basically a relocated Cleveland Browns thanks
to Art Modell’s disputes. However, everything
that was known to be part of the Browns franchise
stayed in Cleveland since they were going to be
awarded another franchise. In 1996, the Washington
Redskins now had a new neighbor with the Cleveland
Browns. When one thinks of the Baltimore Ravens,
the first thing that pops in their mind is good
old fashioned rough and tough defense. That is
how the Baltimore Ravens won Super Bowl XXXV with
a thrashing of the New York Giants. The 2004 season
looks promising as the Baltimore Ravens are expected
to have one of the top defenses as usual.
