Team: Denver Broncos
Sport: Pro Football (NFL)
Stadium: Invesco Field at Mile High
Head Coach: Mike Shanahan
Super Bowls: 1998 XXXII, 1999 XXXIII
Background:
The Denver Broncos are one of the most successful and consistent
AFC teams. However, they possess one of the worst Super Bowl
winning percentages in NFL history. The Denver Broncos have
won only 2 out of 6 Super Bowl appearances. The Denver Broncos
fielded some of the best players in the 1990s. John Elway
was a long time Hall of Fame quarterback who went out in style,
with a Super Bowl ring. Terrell Davis who is currently retired
due to injury rushed for over 2,000 yards in one season, only
a handful of running backs have achieved this feat. The past
2 seasons have been moderately successful for the Denver Broncos
but not when it comes to playoff victories. During the off-season
the Broncos have upgraded their defense with Champ Bailey
and are ready to make another playoff run.
