Background: For the most part, free agency
came and has just about gone without the Rams making any significant
upgrades. But of the moves they made, one appeared to be among
the most curious in the league this off-season.
On paper, the Rams appear to have a pretty nice unit up front,
but there are concerns. Stud left tackle Orlando Pace has
been franchised, as was the case last year, and could find
himself going through another round of tough negotiations.
The offensive line got a great deal of the blame last season
when St. Louis managed a meager 93.5 rushing yards a game
(30th in the league). But again, a healthy Faulk plus Jackson
should greatly improve that number.
